Fall?

September 8, 2011 § Leave a comment

In the land of knitwear we LOVE LOVE LOVE the fall.  You finally get to stroll down the street and wear a beautiful hand knit sweater without sweating to death or without having to cover up all your hard work with a down jacket. Bring on the chilly weather! Bring on the leaves changing color! Bring on VK Live!

That’s right, VK Live is upon us again, this time being hosted in California, home state of Be Sweet. Happening on September 23-25 at the Hyatt Regency in Century Plaza in Los Angeles, VK Live is packed with knitting celebrities, an amazing marketplace, classes and techniques you’ve been dying to learn and talks and speeches on everything under the sun in the knitting world.

What we’re most excited about here at Be Sweet is StevenBe of Yarn Garage and Unwind will be hosting Be Sweet at VK LIVE in addition to a talk by our very own Nadine Curtis on “Farm to Fashion.” Experience why Nadine started her business and learn about the process of how small job creation production teams in South Africa make a product line that turns into some of the most fashion forward fibers on the market. Learn techniques on how to start a business doing what you love.

We hope to see you there! Register for VK Live here. Nadine’s talk is on both Saturday and Sunday and you can see the page here by searching under “Nadine Curtis.”

Looks like Anthropolgie and Free People are also getting ready for fall, no? Looks like our T-Shirt yarn!
