Insane? I Prefer “Organized”

June 29, 2011 § Leave a comment

I know, I know… I’m that person you hate. The one who does the holiday shopping in the summer and prowls the card store in October for when the release their holiday cards so I can get the best ones. I pick out the cookies I want to make weeks in advance and secretly cheer when holiday items start to appear in Target in September. Insane? Maybe. Organized? Definitely.

What most knitters know (usually in a “trial by fire” situation) if you want to knit or crochet your holiday gifts, the sooner you get started, the better. You’ll thank yourself over and over by the time the chill in the air rolls around and you’re sitting pretty (and smug) because all you have to do is wrap everything.

Remember our new Simply Sweet yarn line? Read about it here in case you missed that post. We’re offering up 4 brand new patterns in an ebook using Simply Sweet yarns. All are perfect for holiday (or any time) knitting. They include:

The hat pattern is sized from child to adult.

What a fantastic ebook! Check it out and download it here on Ravelry. Remember that if you send us a picture of your finished Be Sweet knit for our gallery, you get a free pattern emailed to you in return!

So while it seems crazy to even think about holiday knitting, let alone cast on, at least get your patterns and yarn picked out and ready to roll. You can start during that long ride to the beach or the summer cabin. You’ll thank me later!
