New People, New Patterns!

February 21, 2011 § 2 Comments

As we find ourselves in this weird in-between stage of not really winter/not quite spring, we like to get lost in beautiful colors and new patterns. What better way to pass those final days of a chilly season than by introducing some new designs?

We’re in love with our new Abigail Circular Shrug by Caroline Moore! Knit up in Be Sweet Brushed Mohair, this is a deceptively fast knit. Download it out on Ravelry here.

If accessories are more your thing, we also have the Sonoma Fine Scarves ebook, featuring 2 new patterns by Ramona Gaynor. Both use Be Sweet’s Extra Fine Mohair. Download the ebook here.

Doesn’t it seem like everyone is pregnant or has someone in their life who is right now? We’re excited to introduce our Velveteen Baby Set by Laurie Kimmelstiel, an ebook featuring a baby blanket with matching hat. Both use be Sweet’s Bamboo and can be downloaded here. Cute!

Stay tuned for more patterns being introduced in the next couple of weeks, including some more free pattern alerts!

Since we’re in introduction mode, we’d also like you all to meet Melinda, our new office assistant. Melinda is a knitter and mother of two working at Be Sweet part-time. She started knitting when she was very young and was taught by her grandmother. She’s always loved creating simple projects and would often fall in love with fibers first and then figure out what to do with them later. Welcome to our sweet family, Melinda!
