Here at Be Sweet we love it when people do unexpected things with yarn. You don’t have to always follow the pattern to the letter or do exactly what a book tells you, use one color only or always work in the same fiber. One of the reasons our Magic Ball is so darn popular is that it’s different and unexpected.
Check out this amazing video of Rachel John, extreme knitter. Rachel knit holding 1,000 strands of yarn together as part of an exhibit in an art gallery. Watching her take those 1,000 strands around her GIANT knitting needles made me immediately think “I wonder if she got her gauge?” Not only inspiring and super cool, this is what we love about knitting.
