Greetings, fearless bloggers. As you know, Mother’s Day is quickly approaching. Why not knit mom up a shawl? Shawls not only make great gifts, but they’re super versatile and everyone loves them. Perfect for a chilly day or a room with full-on air conditioning, shawls can be worn year round and compliment any outfit.
In honor of Mother’s Day, we offer you this free pattern…
MEDIUM MOHAIR SHAWL

4 balls of Be Sweet Medium Mohair
US 11 (8mm) needles
Size 5 crochet hook
Cast on 80 stitches.
Knit in Stockinette for 280 rows.
Crochet edges on short side …
Work 1 row ss (slip stitch) into edge of shawl to form foundation row. 3 chains – turn work. 1 tr (treble) into second ss, 1 ch, miss 1 ss, 1 tr miss 1 ss to end. 3 chains to turn. Repeat row 2 once. Fasten off.
