Oh La La!

The lovely Kristeen Griffin-Grimes over at French Girl Knits has named a summery top for the mastermind behind Be Sweet, Nadine Curtis.
Kristeen’s new knitting book “French Girl Knits: Innovative Techniques, Romantic Details, and Feminine Designs” is available now published by Interweave Press. With over 160 pages, this book is sure to be a wonderful addition to your knitting library.
The Nadine top is knit Be Sweet’s Bambino (70% organically grown cotton, 30% bamboo,
hand dyed and spun in South Africa, 50g/95 yds, 5sts/1″ on US 7 needles). With over 40 colors to choose from it’s easy to find one that tickles your fancy! One of my favorite yarns from the Be Sweet collection, you could wear this super soft top year-round in any climate.
In other news, we recently had a bag trunk show at Puffy Mondaes with LIVE models. How cool is that? These bags come in super cool colors and wear like iron. Made from recycled t-shirts and made using the same technique that hooked rugs are, these South African bags remind you that green is good! With the holidays right around the corner (better start your holiday knitting!) this bag would be a great gift for any creative soul.
Speaking of holiday knitting….What is everyone making for their gifts this year?
