Happy Wednesday!

I think that looks lovely and I’d like to make my own.
I have a question about construction though. Is it knit as a tube that then becomes a loop or is it a flat piece?
I think it’s tube within a bigger tube when connected.
the instruction says knit every stitch of every round but the design here looks more like stockinette stitch.please clarify.
It’s knit in the round, so it’s knit all stitches. Stockinette in the round is not the same as knitting stockinette back and forth.
Thanks for explaining
im a beginner. how do you join the round on circular needles after provisionally cast on stitches?
Your best bet is to check YouTube and watch some videos to get you on the right track.
Thnx I have done so.
Could I potentially knit the scarf flat then graft the ends together?
If the finished piece is 74 in length would we not cast on more than
74 sts?
Length has nothing to do with number of sts casted on!
What does it mean to “join the loop”?
Has anyone made this? Is it looped more than twice in the photo? 78″ seems awfully long…
I am at 70″ and I think 78″ will be just right when wrapped around the neck twice.
Thanks, Shirley! I’ll see how mine goes. I’m only at about 24″ right now, but it’s lovely!
